Mark Landrieu graduated from Nicholls State University with B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing and has been a Broker for over 30 years. Since 1980 Mark has specialized in commercial real estate transactions in the New Orleans Metropolitan Area, primarily in the Central Business District. Mark has completed major site acquisitions for development and building acquisitions for conversion projects throughout the Central Business District and Historic Warehouse District. Some of the notable projects include a portion of the Sheraton Hotel Canal Street, Hampton Inn Suites at 226 Carondelet Street, Hampton Inn Parking Garage Site, 500 St. Charles Ave Hotel (127 rooms), Queen and Crescent Hotel at 344 Camp Street, Holiday Inn Crown Plaza Poydras Street, Energy Centre Parking Garage Site on Loyola Avenue, 546 Carondelet Office Building and well over 100 other commercial transactions in the CBD as well as several industrial transactions in the Elmwood Industrial Park.
Mark has represented both buyer and sellers handling transactions for such notable clients as: Archdiocese of New Orleans, Daughters of Charity, Associated Catholic Charities, Loyola University, Tulane University, Joseph Canizaro Interest, Developer, Coleman Family, Parking Company of America, Lee Schlesinger, Westminster Properties, Paul Kaplow, Developer, Anne Rice, Author, Covenant House, New Orleans, & WWL TV.
Mark was a Charter Member of the Young Leadership Council, Past Chairman of the Historic District Landmark Commission, Past Board Member for New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts, and Past Board Member of the Transportation Center Authority otherwise known as Union Passenger Terminal.
Mark lives In New Orleans, is married to Sara Landrieu and has five children.
