Justin C. Landry
About Justin
Mr. Landry joined Stirling Properties in October 2007. He currently serves as Stirling’s Senior VP of Development & Finance.
As Sr. VP of Development and Finance, Mr. Landry is tasked with the oversight of the extremely active Development, Acquisition and Finance Teams with Stirling. He has a deep understanding of investments, development, debt finance, and acquisitions. Since 2007, Mr. Landry has placed over $2.0 billion in interim and permanent financing. Additionally, over the course of his career, he has been involved in over $2 billion in Development and Acquisition projects.
Mr. Landry graduated in 2007 from Louisiana State University in Finance with a Concentration in Real Estate. During his time there, he was also a pole vaulter on the Track & Field Team where he received the Athletic Directors Cup for the achievement of academic excellence as a student athlete. He holds the prestigious Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) designation.
Outside of Stirling, Justin enjoys spending his free time being present with his wife and three children. Justin and his wife, Tayler, enjoy a very active life and do their best to teach healthy habits to their children.

Mac Bauer
About Mac
Mac Bauer has been a member of Stirling’s development team since joining the company in 2011. His strengths include recognizing market opportunities and appreciating property value. Mr. Bauer has led the development of notable projects such as: Academy Sports + Outdoors in Lake Charles (72,000sf new construction); the Offices at Mid-City Market in New Orleans (55,000sf historic renovation); a freestanding Emergency Department and Imaging Clinic for Ochsner in Laplace (19,500sf new construction, hybrid building); a 600+ unit self-storage facility in Hammond (93,000sf new construction); bankruptcy acquisition and partial conversion of a former hospital in Lacombe (205,000sf building); refinancing and construction closeout of a new rehab hospital in Jefferson (135,000sf new construction); and repurposing of a retail building into a multispecialty clinic in Bossier City (25,000sf PEMB retrofit).
Prior to joining Stirling, Mr. Bauer was a principal with Bauer & Company, Inc., which, over the course of 25 years, developed several single-tenant properties (e.g., Walgreens, Winn-Dixie, etc.), a mixed-use condominium building (625 St. Charles) in the heart of New Orleans’ warehouse district, and the city’s first motorcoach resort (French Quarter RV Resort), just two blocks from the French Quarter.
Previous positions with Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan and Christie’s, in Germany and New York, provided Mr. Bauer immeasurable insight into the arenas of financial modeling, investor relations, international asset management, and valuation services. Bauer graduated from Rutgers University in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in Art History and is fluent in German.
John Woodard
About John
John Woodard serves as Vice President for Stirling, leading the company’s New Orleans office in the Pan-American Life Center.
He leads various development and redevelopment projects, including Stirling’s first build-to-rent communities and the company’s new corporate office headquarters at River Chase in Covington. Additionally, he plays a pivotal role in asset management for Stirling’s New Orleans properties, including the Pan-American Life Center, Magnolia Marketplace, Mid-City Marketplace and Offices at Mid-City, along with the company’s multi-family portfolio. As the company’s liaison for government relations, John’s diverse experience includes serving as aide to Congressman Steve Scalise and was later appointed by the President to serve as White House Liaison and Special Advisor at the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Woodard previously held the role of Director of Development and Asset Management where he was responsible for managing and assisting with all phases of Stirling’s development and redevelopment processes, working in multiple capacities to support projects from the pre-development phase through stabilization. He has led several notable company projects over the past several years and has also been involved with the asset management of over 1,500,000 square feet of retail, medical, office and multifamily properties in Stirling’s portfolio.
A Covington native, John is graduate of the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University with an MBA in Finance and Real Estate and holds a B.S. in Finance from LSU, where he also served as LSU Student Body President. Outside of Stirling, John is an adjunct lecturer for the Tulane School of Architecture and serves as a member of the GNO, Inc. NextGen Council, Urban Land Institute (ULI) Louisiana, ICSC, NMHC, Friends of the Cabildo and formerly the National WWII Museum Young Benefactors and LSU Young Alumni Council
Mark Salvetti
About Mark
Mark Salvetti joined the Stirling team in 2004 as Senior Project Manager. He has over 37 years of experience in residential and commercial construction and development.
While working within his project management roles in the construction industry, Mr. Salvetti has been involved with the construction of banks, schools, hospitals, churches, retail, industrial, and road projects. His various roles have taken him from minor tenant finish work to a $15 million research facility for Tulane University. Recent development projects include multi-specialty medical, office, and climate-controlled storage facilities. Notable developments that Salvetti has managed include Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove (Baton Rouge), Ochsner LSU Health – Viking Drive (Bossier), The Offices at River Chase and River Chase Self Storage (Covington), and the renovations of the Pan-American Life Center (New Orleans), to name a few.
Before joining Stirling, he was Director of Construction and Development for Safeguard Self Storage in Metairie, Louisiana, where he was instrumental in coordinating development activities in various locations, including New York, Chicago, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami.
Mr. Salvetti holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Louisiana State University. He also holds the designation of Senior Certified Development/Design/Construction Professional (SCDP) from ICSC and a position on the ICSC Centerbuild Steering Committee.
He is an avid runner, stand up paddler, and photographer/videographer. He combines his hobbies into annual guided surfing trips to Costa Rica with friends. Mr. Salvetti founded the Crawfishman Triathlon in 1983 and has been active in community fundraising for the event—total donations from his race have generated over $100,000 towards local charities and foundations.
Ian Krentel
About Ian
Ian Krentel joined the Stirling team in 2019 as a Development Project Manager with over 15 years’ experience in commercial construction. In this role, he manages and assists with numerous aspects through all phases of the commercial real estate development process such as market feasibility, creating and updating financial pro formas, assisting with debt and equity financing, zoning/entitlements, design, permitting, construction, marketing, and leasing.
Prior to joining the Stirling team, Mr. Krentel worked on various commercial projects across the greater New Orleans area including retail, industrial, commercial, and residential property sectors. Recent Stirling projects that Krentel has managed include Ochsner Kidney Care Clinics, Target shell redevelopment at Premier Center, Oak Heritage townhomes, and many national tenant build to suite projects across the Stirling portfolio.
Mr. Krentel is an active member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers). He is a graduate of Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge, LA) and holds a BS in Construction Management with a Minor in Business Administration.
He enjoys golf, tennis, pickleball, traveling, and everything outdoors. Mostly, he loves spending time with his wife and two daughters, where they reside in Covington, LA.
Samantha Marshall
About Samantha
Samantha Marshall, serving as the Finance and Development Manager at Stirling, plays a pivotal role in securing both debt and equity capital for the company’s diverse projects. With a dedicated focus on managing a substantial $1 billion debt portfolio comprising over 80 loans, Samantha collaborates closely with Stirling’s executive team to ensure optimal capitalization.
In addition to her responsibilities with the debt portfolio, Samantha actively contributes to investor relations, aligning her efforts with the company’s overarching strategic growth plan. Engaging in various special projects, she directly collaborates with some of Stirling’s key, long-term clients, fostering enduring partnerships.
Samantha joined Stirling in 2013, initially as a Paralegal / Document Manager. In this capacity, she orchestrated loan closings and served as a primary liaison with lenders, guarantors, and investors. It was during this time that Samantha discovered her passion for cultivating relationships with lenders and delving into the intricacies of debt and equity capital.
Before joining Stirling, Samantha accumulated valuable experience in different sectors. At the Methodist Hospital System, she oversaw leasing, tenant buildout, and property management for multiple medical office buildings in the greater Houston area. Her career also includes a stint at a subsidiary of Shell Oil Company, where she negotiated contracts and leases for service station locations nationwide.
Samantha holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Speech Communications from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, complemented by a Paralegal Certificate, showcasing her commitment to both communication and legal expertise. With a proven track record of success and a diverse skill set, Samantha Marshall is an integral part of Stirling’s dynamic team, driving financial excellence and fostering valuable relationships within the industry.
