About Kaelan
Kaelan McArthur is an Advisor with Stirling’s commercial real estate team, working from the company’s New Orleans, Louisiana office. Her areas of focus include the sales and leasing of retail, office, and industrial properties, with representation of both tenants and landlords. Her specific geographical expertise is in the Gulf South market area.
A Mobile, Alabama native, Kaelan brings over a decade of invaluable experience in restaurant management spanning Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Her tenure in this industry has given her an insider’s understanding of the unique challenges new restaurant and retail owners have when starting their business and allows her to successfully guide clients with their commercial real estate needs. This background has not only honed her customer service skills but also her prowess in cultivating enduring relationships with clients.
Since joining Stirling in 2022, she has adeptly leveraged her skills to forge strong client relationships while facilitating lease negotiations and commercial real estate acquisitions across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.
A member of the Stirling Stewardship team, Kaelan has previously volunteered with The Ronald McDonald House, USA Women’s & Children’s NICU, and is a passionate advocate for local animal rescues. She resides in the Bywater Historic District of New Orleans, Louisiana with her rescue dogs – Daisy and Jack.
Thomas McVoy
About Thomas
Thomas McVoy has been in the Real Estate Industry since 2015. He sold residential property for three years before transitioning to commercial real estate sales and leasing.
Thomas began his real estate career with Levin Rinke Realty, where he excelled in representing buyers and sellers for luxury properties at one of the top residential brokerages in the Pensacola area. His ability to work with clients on all matters to ensure a smooth transaction did not go unnoticed. Thomas worked diligently to ensure every client was represented to the fullest by guiding and advising them at every turn. The switch to commercial real estate came from successful brokers as mentors and a desire to further his skillset in the real estate industry. Thomas is currently a Stirling Advisor.
When he is off the clock, there are three activities Thomas loves to do: spend time with his family, hunting and golfing.

Jill Meeks
About Jill
Jill Meeks serves as a Senior Advisor and Property Manager with Stirling, working in the company’s Mobile, Alabama, office. The focal point of her work has been in office and retail leasing, commercial sales, and landlord and tenant representation. She is also responsible for overseeing the Property Management of office space in Mobile County.
Before joining Stirling in 2014, Mrs. Meeks served as Vice President of John Toomey & Company for twenty-one years and was instrumental in the company’s development through acquisitions, sales, and leasing.
She began her career in Commercial Real Estate at Roberts Brothers, Inc., where she worked for two years in the Commercial Department before joining Lyon Properties, Inc. to work with Mr. Billy Lyon and Mr. John Toomey. Mrs. Meeks worked there for four years before Mr. Toomey opened his own company and hired her.
Mrs. Meeks is involved with the Mobile Area Association of Realtors and previously served on the board of directors. In addition, she is an active member of the Mobile Commercial Real Estate Exchange group, where she served as the organization’s 2017 President. She has earned numerous awards and recognition for her commercial transactions and sales volume, including Stirling’s Bronze Award in 2017-2019 and Silver Award in 2016 and 2021. She was also the recipient of the 2022 Platinum Broker Award from Crexi, and the 2018 and 2022 Power Broker Award from CoStar.
Foster Murphy
About Foster
Foster Murphy is an Advisor with Stirling’s commercial real estate team, working from the company’s Covington, Louisiana, office. Foster’s primary focus areas are office, medical and retail sales, leasing, and new development projects. He also has extensive experience with tenant representation and in-depth market knowledge, allowing him to provide sound advice to his clients.
Foster is dedicated to providing clients with the best quality of service, adding value for investors in the market, and growing new connections into long-term customer relationships. He has a personal love for architecture and experience in AutoCAD, which allows him to visualize his clients’ needs and wants for their properties.
Before joining Stirling, Foster was an integral member of the SVN | Graham, Langlois & Legendre commercial real estate team in Baton Rouge. Prior to that, he spent seven years working in property management for a single owner and then transitioned to a commercial real estate/property management firm in the Capital Region.
Foster has also had the privilege of representing numerous nonprofit organizations, including Volunteers of America, Veteran Affairs, ARC Baton Rouge, Special Olympics of LA, Greater Baton Rouge Industrial Alliance, Baton Rouge Youth Coalition, Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency, and the Louisiana Assessor’s Association, in fulfilling their real estate requirements with dedication and expertise.
When not immersed in the real estate market, Foster cherishes moments with his fiancée, Meagan, alongside his family and friends. He enjoys golfing, reading, carpentry, hunting, and fishing, often accompanied by his loyal black lab, Goose.
Ryan Murphy
About Ryan
Ryan Murphy joined Stirling’s commercial real estate team in October of 2010 and serves as a Senior Advisor working from the company’s Covington, Louisiana, office. He primarily specializes in the office market, representing both landlords and tenants, as well as in vacant land. He also works with sellers and buyers in investment properties. Mr. Murphy obtained his CCIM designation in March of 2021 and is an active member. He is also a member of the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors (NOMAR) Commercial Investment Division (CID).
Prior to joining Stirling, Ryan worked independently since 2002 in commercial real estate, developing and purchasing small office products. He continues to own and manage his own portfolio of office space.
Mr. Murphy served two 4-year terms of elected office as a councilman for the Town of Abita Springs from 2014 thru 2022 and served as the Mayor Pro Tem during his second term.
Mr. Murphy is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, earning a B.S. in Political Science and a B.A. in Economics. He also has earned an MBA from Loyola University New Orleans.
Jay O’Brien
About Jay
Jay O’Brien serves as a commercial real estate Senior Advisor in Stirling’s Mobile, AL office. Jay has extensive experience in land brokerage, site selection, tenant representation, investment sales and property management. With more than 25 years of experience, Jay has been involved in the development, acquisition, and disposition of over 10,000,000 square feet of retail, multifamily, and industrial properties throughout Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle. Jay holds the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, commercial real estate’s global standard for professional achievement.
A lifelong resident of Mobile, Jay is an entrepreneur, local business owner, and the President of his family-owned real estate company, J. L. O’Brien & Associates, Inc. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the State Board of Realtors, and the Mobile Board of Realtors. He is also a former State Board Member and Officer with the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) of Alabama where he is still actively involved.
Jay graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Building Science. He and his wife have two children and are members of St. Ignatius Parish. In his leisure time, he is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting and fishing.
